Reworked 1973.. Bryonie Porter
Many people have used our wraps to cover old furniture, however, Bryonie Porter's effort is definitely one of the best. Bryonie takes tired items of furniture and turns them into stylish, one-off pieces. The business evolved from a personal project to spruce up an old built in cupboard. It is now a bespoke boutique company. Not only are the finished pieces chic but they are also environmentally friendly. Here are two examples of her work from her 'kids' collection which just so happen to feature our recycled wraps.

Featured!! Financial Times E-Cquisitions
Last month we were featured on the Financial times website www.howtospendit.com, which is a fantastic site. The post featured products from our Belle & Boo, Pantone, Sanna Annukka and Paul Thurlby ranges. It was accompanied by a very lovely write up from Charlotte Abrahams. Scroll down and have a look for yourself.

Because it's Friday....
the good thing about interning is getting to hear peoples play lists, this was one I heard while making tea in 2004. Still makes me think of Buffalo Bill.

Featured!!! Print and Pattern.
Firstly Happy New Year to everyone from us here at 1973!! We are so excited about the year ahead and the brand new lines we will be releasing very, very soon.
However, I just wanted to take a little step back to this blog post I missed at the end of last year on Print and Pattern. It's a fab write up about our Darling Clementine and Pantone Christmas cards that were in Paperchase over the festive period. Im sure that everyone is well over everything Christmas but I thought I would pop it up anyway. See the full post here
