Christmas Cards....

To some this may be a bit early for a posts about christmas cards, however, in the greetings card industry we start thinking about it late January / early February. We have just received The running sheets of two of our ranges, Snow Folk from the girls at Darling Clementine  and Sukie's Christmas range. The colours and illustrations are really nice, even in May.

Violet Rose...!

Back in February we announced that Sales Manager Lucy McKeown had given birth to daughter Violet Rose. Three months on and we had the chance to finally meet the bambino. Here is the bouncy baby with her mum and James. TOO CUTE!   

New Darling Clementine!!!

Here at 1973 we have just received new artwork from the girls at Darling Clementine. 'The Uniforms' have a very different feel to their previous range 'The Claudettes' however, they are equally as charming.

The girls never disappoint with their very distinctive designs. The full range will be posted very soon. Have a look at the girls website HERE

Pantone..

So here at 1973 we have some very exciting news. We have just signed a contract with Pantone to exclusively produce Pantone paper products. James and Emma are working very hard on designs as we speak. CAN NOT WAIT. Keep your eyes peeled for updates and sneak peeks of what is to come.

Mint Design is a really lovely Blog that chronicles interesting and beautiful design. It's subject matter varies from vintage inspired wallpaper to interviews to hand made jewellery. It's Nice That

We were very pleased to see that our Sanna Annukka range got a write up on design blog It's Nice That. It's one of our favourite blogs so there is a bit of mutual appreciation going on, which is nice. How many times can I say nice? NICE

1973 mascot.

For the last couple of months we have had a part-time office hound (the rest of the time he his being spoilt rotten by Danny) that frequents us. Jet the 18-month-old Whippet is now a firm member of the team who is ridiculously funny and very silly indeed.

Daily Express Clipping.

We are very pleased to have had a very sweet write up in the Daily Express today (May 13^th). Claire Brayford who has the Style Secrets section claimed she had ‘fallen in love’ with 1973. Good stuff!
